Stereolithography (SLA)

The Technology

General Pattern utilises the 3D Systems SLA machines to produce highly accurate models in 5 different types of uniquely blended resins. These include hard resins for master models, flexible resins to emulate PP and ABS, high temperature resins for functional use, a water-clear resin and dedicated resins for the latest SLA machines.

The SLA models are manufactured using laser technology building a solid representation in epoxy resin from your CAD data.
